Welcome to Fit It On, the premier AI virtual try-on platform for fashion ecommerce. This guide will walk you through the absolute basics of generating your first on-model image using our flagship feature: Product to Model.

By the end of this tutorial, you will have transformed a simple flat-lay clothing image into a high-quality, realistic photo of an AI fashion model wearing your garment.

Step 1: Navigate to the AI Studio

Once you are logged into your Fit It On account, head over to the Studio, the core AI generation workspace. You can find it here to jump straight into the action.

Step 2: Upload Your Product Image

To get started with the AI virtual try-on process, you need a clear image of the garment you want to generate.

In the Product Image upload area, click or drag-and-drop your image.
For the best AI generation results, use a flat-lay or ghost mannequin image on a plain, contrasting background.
Optional: If your image has a busy background, you can use our built-in Background Removal tool first to clean it up before generating!

Step 3: Choose Your AI Fashion Model

Next, you need to decide who will be wearing your product. Fit It On provides a variety of ways to select an AI model:

Select a Standard Model: Browse our catalog of pre-generated, high-quality AI models across various ethnicities, body types, and genders.
Upload a Custom Model: If you have a specific model or face you want to use consistently for your fashion brand, you can upload it directly.

Step 4: Configure Generation Settings

Before hitting generate, you can tweak a few settings to get exactly what you want from the AI engine:

Photography Style: Choose from preset professional photography styles to instantly define the environment, lighting, and mood for your AI generation.
Aspect Ratio: Choose the output size. 4:5 is great for Instagram, while 9:16 is perfect for Stories or TikTok.
Number of Samples: Choose how many variations you want the AI to generate in one go.

Step 5: Generate the Image!

Click the Generate button.

Our AI engine will take a few moments to process your request. Once complete, your new on-model images will appear in the results area.

From here, you can:

Download the image directly to your device.
Find it automatically saved in your Gallery for future use.
Send it to the Social Studio to format it for your marketing channels.
