Prompt Try-On

Prompt Try-On: Text-to-Image Fashion Generation

While our other tools rely heavily on transferring existing garments, Prompt Try-On gives you ultimate creative freedom. By uploading a base model and writing a descriptive text prompt, you can generate entirely new clothing, styles, and scenes that don't even exist yet.

This AI tool is perfect for:

  • Ideation & Design: Visualizing concepts for new garments before they are manufactured.
  • Styling Variations: Taking a basic model and asking the AI to style them in different ways (e.g., "styled with a leather jacket and boots").
  • Creative Environments: Placing your models in hyper-specific, imaginative locations that would be impossible or expensive to photograph in real life.

How to Use AI Prompt Try-On

1. Upload Your Base Model (Required)

You must start with a base image of a person. This serves as the structural foundation for the AI. The generative engine will use this model's pose, body type, and identity as a canvas for your text prompt. You can upload a photo or select one from your Wardrobe.

2. Write Your Prompt (Required)

The text prompt tells the AI engine what to change or add to the base model. Describe the clothing and the environment you want to generate.

  • Example: "Wearing a bright red oversized knit sweater, standing in a snowy forest, cinematic lighting, 8k resolution, highly detailed."
  • Tip: Be specific about materials, colors, and the mood you are trying to convey.

3. Advanced Settings

Configure your final output settings before generating:

  • Samples: Choose how many image variations you want the AI to generate simultaneously.
  • Quality: Select between standard (1k) or high-resolution (2k/4k) outputs. Note: Generation cost scales based on the quality selected.
  • Aspect Ratio: Choose the dimensions for your generated images (e.g., 1:1, 4:5, 9:16).
  • Reference Model: Optionally select a pre-set catalog model to influence the generation.
  • Photography Style: Choose from preset professional photography styles to instantly define the environment, lighting, and mood.

4. Generate

Click Try It On. The AI will synthesize your text prompt onto your uploaded base model, generating entirely new fashion photography.

Prompting Tips for AI Fashion Design

Use industry-specific terms: Instead of just "dress", say "A-line midi dress with a sweetheart neckline and puff sleeves."

Specify fabrics: Describe the texture explicitly: "Silk, corduroy, distressed denim, sheer chiffon." The AI understands material physics based on these keywords.

Don't forget the lighting: Lighting makes or breaks a fashion photo. If you aren't using a predefined Photography Style, add terms like: "Studio lighting, harsh shadows, soft morning sunlight, neon cyberpunk glow."

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

While possible, it is much harder to maintain exact product fidelity using pure text. If you have an existing product you want to sell, you should use the Product to Model tool instead.

Fit It On's AI engine uses the uploaded image as a structural blueprint. Without it, the AI wouldn't know the posture, body type, or identity of the model you are trying to dress.
