Quality Enhancer: Achieving 2K and 4K Resolution
Fit It On's AI generation engines are incredibly fast, but rendering an image at ultra-high-definition (4K) inherently consumes more computational resources (credits) than generating a standard definition (1K) draft.
To optimize your workflow and conserve your credit balance, Fit It On provides a dedicated Quality Enhancer utility. This allows you to rapidly generate dozens of 1K prototypes, select the absolute best result, and selectively enhance only that final image to either 2K or 4K resolution.
How to Enhance an Image
The enhancement process is managed entirely within your centralized Gallery workspace, ensuring you never have to leave the platform or use third-party enhancement tools.
Step-by-Step Enhancement Workflow
- Navigate to your Gallery -> Results folder.
- Click on the standard definition (1K) image you wish to enhance to open the high-resolution viewer.
- In the Details Panel on the right-hand side, locate the Actions menu.
- Click the Quality Enhancer button, and select your desired target resolution (2K or 4K).
- A confirmation modal will appear detailing the exact credit cost required for the enhancement operation. Confirm the action.
The Fit It On enhancement engine will process the image, intelligently interpolating missing pixels and sharpening fabric textures without altering the core composition.
Prototyping Strategy: We highly recommend setting your default Generation Quality to "1k" across all Studio tools. Only use the Quality Enhancer tool on the 1 or 2 images you intend to publish to your storefront. This strategy can save enterprise teams hundreds of credits per month.
Enhancement Costs and Limitations
- Credit Consumption: Enhancing an image requires the generative engine to perform a secondary pass. Therefore, enhancing a 1K image to 2K or 4K will consume additional AI credits based on your subscription tier's standard rates.
- Maximum Resolution: Images cannot be enhanced beyond 4K resolution.
- Original File Preservation: When you enhance an image, the original 1K version is preserved in your Gallery, and the newly generated 4K version is saved as a completely separate asset.
Subscription Gates: High-resolution generation and post-generation enhancement (2k and 4k capabilities) are exclusive features reserved for Premium and Agency subscription tiers. Starter plan users must upgrade to access the enhancer.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
No. The enhancement engine is strictly an enhancement tool. It sharpens details, improves lighting artifacts, and increases pixel density without hallucinatively altering the subject's pose, facial features, or clothing structure.
Currently, the Quality Enhancer utility is specifically calibrated to enhance images generated by the Fit It On AI engines (located in your Results or Models folders). It is not designed as a general-purpose enhancer for raw camera photography.
